Imagine walking along a Street Filled with Victorian Restorations, all decked out for the holidays. No cars are around. Only people dressed up cozy, walking from house to house…seeing the lights, listening to carolers, seeing mini performances, drinking hot chocolate, eating popcorn, savoring apple cider. This is Vine Street in Paso Robles! Once a year, this street is transformed to a wintery showcase full spirit and cheer. Local business along the street as well as residents go all out offering goodies to passerbys. At one house there is a Scrooge who come out on his balcony to jeer the crowds..who jeer right back! At another you will find singers, and another dancers. And don’t forget the arrival of Santa! It’s a wonderful family event. We will be attending this year and helping pass out popcorn at the Women’s Shelter Program office. I promise to post pics after the event! Be sure to bring cell phones and keep your kiddos close and brightly dressed, as this is a crowded event…the street is packed, but well maintained with law enforcement and city officials, but always better to plan on the safety end of it! I can’t wait to attend and see the looks on my girls faces! Events like these are sure to get you in the holiday spirit! Hope to see you there!
